OUR STORY

I've been baking and constantly testing recipes for years.  I like to experiment but I also have many standard recipes.  I like to use the best ingredients and often use seasonal fruits and vegetables in my baking products.  Although I have never had formal training, I feel as though the women in my family have been training me my whole life.  My mother was a baker - she has a serious bread addiction.  My grandmother, Arvilla Backlund, was a tremendous baker who provided me with her family recipes before she passed in 1996.  I've been making her amazing cinnamon buns and molasses cookies since then.  And I cannot possibly forget my grandmother, Deanie Earp, who spent hours with me in the kitchen making her various cookies and pies, including her famous raisin puffs.
